I thought of Amnesia: The Dark Descent right away when I saw this. This would make a cool looking monster in a mod for that game.

I have not played Silent Hill nor are familiar with it, but from what I can say is that Amnesia is a very different sort of game in that you cannot fight monsters. You have to use wits, hiding, and maneuvering to get around the game. You don't have weapons of any soft to kill the monsters. The game wears the "M" label really well though.

I guess you could say its a very scary 1st person puzzle game. Lots of puzzles. Its also an Indie Developed game and people make lots of neat mods. I dunno what else to say about. I've actually not played it myself but I watch a guy on YouTube play it and its mods all the time. He is pretty funny to watch, although I think his earlier video's when he was sincerely scared were the best.

I dunno... half asleep posting this comment... might be obnoxious to read.
